Welcome

The mission of the Center for Entrepreneurship in International Health and Development (CEIHD, pronounced “seed”) is to improve the health of low-income families in developing countries by drawing on the power of science and entrepreneurship to deliver health-enhancing products and services at affordable prices. As a nonprofit with close ties to the School of Public Health at the University of California, Berkeley, CEIHD provides thought leadership, tools and case studies to the field. CEIHD acknowledges the importance of scale in creating measurable change in health status at a population level and chooses its projects with this overarching objective in mind.
